Animal House-some of our pets

THIS IS THE DOG HE HAD TO HAVE-Spike 100 pounds
ROTTWEILERS WERE AKC REGISTERED AS A BREED IN GERMANY
Rottweiler in Germany.

(and that damn "wolf" dog he had to bring to work everyday :)
(remember the gloves? :)
Keeping my hands washed so much to not
catch anything from the sick thing
really took the skin off of them

This one was his favorite
it loved "sandwiches" and potato chips-1989-2008

Lynard Skynard-I think there's only 2 left
the rest of them lived fast and died fast.

The bird she had to have-so

it was a mean old buzzard-1989-2004
ANOTHER BIRD SONG

FLYING SQUIRREL-raised from a baby-had it 2 years

now either it got out looking for me or it got away from the kids-probably both

Found that squirrel
that hellraiser could really fly

Now I'll add a fish story-don't have pictures of the fish
Sometimes we kept fish from the canal in the fishtank.
I caught a minnow that looked like a little watermelon.
It grew into a bass almost a foot long so I had to let it go because it ate too much.
So in it's place after some time was a blue fighter fish and some ornamental goldfish my sister brought to me because her fish tank got busted by the kids and so she just had it with pets. Robby had went fishing. The next morning the kids found all of the fish mangled up and dead. In the tank was a small red and black bream. The fighter fish couldn't be found-guess the bream ate that one. A few days later the water clouded up so maybe the bream made too much mess, cleaned out the filter system real good. Took out the ornaments to wash them. Found the fighter fish inside the waterwheel ornament. Looks like he decided he was going to die before he came back out.
The bream lived for a few years.

OUR BEST FRIEND-PAT HAND (his boss)

OLD YELLER FISH BEEN GONE
THE BOOB :) COULDN"T KEEP IT ALIVE

Oh and you too, Mark
I remember when you were moving into your new house,
the two turtles in the fish tank were put outside
Rain filled the tank up and one got away.
Didn't the other one drown? :)
Then there was the cat with no claws that could still climb a tree.

Kid Rockin'-the kids

Caroline was our first baby so that was quite a time.
One of the times was she was about six weeks old and he had kept her in the car while I went in the store. Sometimes he would have to take her for a car ride while I went in the store. All seemed well when I came out. Later when I gave her a bath, I saw little bruises on her ribs. I was scared I had been too rough when I would pick her up and I knew it would scare him so I was in panic to be sure he wouldn't see me dressing her. The bruises went away real quick. Some time down the road he was telling me and Johnny about the time he took her for a car ride in the parking lot and didn't belt the carrier seat in. He had also been know to undo the harness that held her in too because he thought it was uncomfortable for her. When he had turned she fell out into the floor.
(I think he was doing wheelies or something silly like that)

When Robert was three, Santa Claus got him an electric train set. (I think it really was for the big Robert) The big Robert wanted to be the one to hook this cute little building up to the track that would toot a horn when the train passed. Now the train was already falling apart because he liked crashing it. I don't know what he did wrong when he hooked up the building but he did it. When the train passed at full speed, the track shot sparks and nothing worked no more. He took two years of electronics at B.C. Rain High School. (graduated 1979) He had an Associate degree in electronics from R.E.T.S in Birmingham (Radio, Electronics and TVs or something like that. I never was able to find the diploma or certificate. He used to laugh about him and classmates nearly blowing stuff up.

We had two box turtles at one time. Both had gotten dog bit and their shells cracked. They were taped up with duct tape, ate leftovers and spent the summer in a big box out in the yard. Right before winter, he duct tape was taken off, the shells had mended and so they were let go.
The two kids named them Lost and Found

Kids:can't help but love'em

When we took the kids to the McDonalds playground, he liked to play in it too.

I thought this was a local radio song but I found it on YouTube-Chucky Cheese Hell
(had to admit the pizza wasn't too bad and I liked the jet ski game)

One time we got a Hot Wheels "crash track" that run on batteries and crashed the cars. It was already assembled in the package. It had two cars with it but when they got the track from Santa Claus, a car was missing. I was sure he thought I had lost the car. But later he said he was playing with the set one time when we were gone and a car got lost. I found it under a couch.

The Battle of Life

People may look so bad because they are so sad
Never say never
if you've never been there

Life can be over in just one day
People are left behind to deal with that-April 2008

Sometimes it doesn't happen that fast though
You're just not given a chance from the start

In short time ways can part - October 3, 2008
Now try deal to with reality with any rhyme or reason

-a 40th birthday is missed - October 25, 2008
-a 22 year anniversary never comes November 1, 2008
-a son becomes a teenager-October 21, 2008
-a daughter learns to drive and turned sweet 16-June 5, 2009

Now to all you people in the house of such reality
Life is a game you may feel you can never win
even if you play your cards right
you may get dealt a bad hand

Comfort is easy to say but
Step in other shoes and take the pay
If you think there's a better way
Then go ahead and make it your day

Don't ever let talk write a check your walk can't cash
When promises are made( "'till death do we part" )
the way it can happen was not the way it was meant to be

The road to hell can be paved with good intentions
Sometimes meant to be's come true just not the ideal way
and the very last things you may say you will do or not do
may be the very last things you do or not do

Sometimes you reap what you didn'r sow
When life has fallen to pieces all around
and you're all amongst it without a clue what to do
then it's how you bring in the harvest that is left

So don't give any lines and keep words to yourself
When there's no talking a way out of pain
You may have to tow a line that is sometimes
too heavy or not strong enough or just slips away

Life as you knew can fall behind
and that yellow brick road is hard to find
and even harder to follow as you get all behind yourself

You know who is here and there and in between
but you walk alone when the life left behind
is still with you, but ahead of you
still you're just stumbling through

You'll never really know
life is too short
Life can shoot you down
worse than any metal

Take the metal that some have taken
and see if you can get back up
and not fall again and again.

Life can be like a full metal jacket
Sometimes it can just unload
more than you can possibly stand

Some may stand and some may fall
We all try to stand then somebody falls
The ones left standing haven't the strength
To pick up the fallen and again they fall.

Battles are won but they feel too small
when the war ahead seems to have no end.
All that we really have to lose in this world is our life
And when we learn to admit defeat but fight on
then we have nothing to be sorry for.

Though you may go down in flames
in cold blood, or up in smoke
you can go out with dignity
when it seemed life just shot you down
you can rise in some way shape or form.

Sometimes the only choices in life you have is to give up, let go, or lay down what you had chosen to pick up and carry. Then to have to leave or watch it slip away is the hardest thing you never want to do. Your only hope left is that all is not lost and life may give back what was lost.

Everlasting Life

not sorry about the filth in this one because he would have loved to see the band EVERLAST live (been to a lot of concerts but not this one)

he liked that 'wrap crap" in the worst way possible
Mom found a CLEAN version on YouTube
Mom liked motorcycles - so just call me "Moto" Cyco' MAMA"

This is the only filth free song from that KID ROCK

The Dating Years

(on no love song) hey it's from the movie GREASE

and it's at a fair-he loved going to the Fair

(DINOSAUR ROCK - JURASSIC JAMS)

I was 16-guessed him to be 20 or 21 at the most
I found out he was SEVEN years older than me, like when we were getting engaged
guess I had never known if we never tried to get a marriage license

ROLL TIDE ROLL !!!!!!!!!!!

the family that ROCKS can ROLL too
He played band at B.C. Rain high school

"rap crap" mix on Bama anthem (give'em hell Alabama)
Alabama anthem
He liked vans so for Father's Day one year he got my Aunt Nona's customized "Alabama van". When she started customizing it, I joked that she had everything but the kitchen sink in it. Next time she brought it down, it had a wet bar in it-a sink :-D

He hated working on the car

Silly Love Songs

he wasn't into love songs-it was really me

Listen up - a little about me and Rob had said he was able to skate when he was younger

and then there was the time when we were going to take a ride on his old motorcycle.
We almost got hit by a car leaving the driveway so I jumped off and then there was the time his nephew Chris was riding a minibike in the yard and as we were leaving, he almost run over him when he was backing the car up.

One of his expressions for impatience with people was "stumbling around" or "stumbling through" so:

THINGS THAT SCARED HIM

FROGS - but he really liked cartoons-bet this beats SPONGEBOB-YA HA HA HA

There was a story among neighbors on the canal about a THREE foot long possum
Dad said he saw it go into the garage one night. The biggest possum mom ever saw was only a foot long or so.

SPIDERS AND SNAKES

One time they were on a canoe trip with a friend and the friend said "Snake!"
Mom thought he was just trying to get everybody stirred into tipping the canoe
but Dad saw the snake swimming under the canoe and tried to hit it with a paddle
It almost landed in the canoe. Mom was able to see it had a white mouth (cottonmouth snake) so it was pretty darn close. Another time Dad said he killed a snake in the yard and half of it had crawled off. Mom knew it was really a legless lizard called a glass snake.
DOGS-got dog bit pretty bad in his younger days (but he still liked them)

RODENTS-he liked the squirrel though

GHOSTS so this is what mom could tell him to do

Dogs-got dog bit pretty bad in his younger days but guess he liked them as pets
He had all kinds of silly nicknames for them and liked to tease them

Profile of A Single Mom

I was feeling under pressure to move on and get on with life so you could say I exploded,
in the mean time I learned web design-it was quite therapeutic
Being a single mom isn't easy and it can feel scary

  • if mom coudn't simply download a program to tap the phones from her computer and look at the text log later if she wanted to SHE DAMN SURE WASN'T GOING TO PICK A PHONE UP AND GET STUCK WITH LISTENING IN ON IT
  • Mom is still sure that kids do know more about computers than she does
  • Dad always thought mom was slow like took too long in the store. Once she was taking forever in the little neighborhood store. A truck leaves, then a policeman went into the store, mom finally comes out. Dad asks "What was the hold-up?" Mom was able to say "You just said it-they just got robbed" (mom had been hiding by the freezer case)

If you get your fishing forecast off the Internet-you might be a "Hi-Tek Redneck"

WHO LET THE DOGS IN

The kids were like him, likes dogs.

ITS A DOGS LIFE
  • it's a good thing all those dogs mom nagged about are gone (for their sake) because THIS IS THE WORST FLEA SEASON EVER in this yard anyway. She hopes the fleas aren't so terrible wherever the dogs are at now.
  • son repairs kennel so mom doesn't have to get rid of dads Rottweiler after all-so mom is truly glad (the Rottweiler is kept to scare people off before MOM bites)
  • mom allows kids to keep stray pit bull-she doesn't want another dog but doesn't nag (as much) because she is sure the very solid handsome dog would get stolen-it did get stolen, gone for almost two weeks, found it's way back home (we really need two dogs to make sure MOM won't bite)
  • the mixed breed just had to have gotten killed somewhere otherwise it could have escaped and/or found it's way home-mom hopes it wasn't used for dog fighting and still believes it will find it's way home (it was dads favorite dog and maybe it finally found the joy of getting away with messing on the floor and tearing stuff up all it wanted to)
  • boyfriend gets daughter a puppy -MOM DOES NOT FEEL LIKE CONTENDING WITH A PUPPY-boyfriend is chased off, daughter runs away-mom finds out she has been with the boyfriend all along because she heard THE PUPPY barking while on phone with daughter (damn dog :) , but you got to admit that's a pretty good dog there) It was brown and white with a big mouth-Mom nicknamed it "PacMan" and she thought it looked like a little cow-update-PACMAN is huge now!
  • the boyfriend didn't make it when daughter wanted to get a female pit bull to have puppies to sell with the one we already have-(the brown and white puppy was missing at the time) MOM SO REFUSED TO HAVE ANY MORE DOGS. The boyfriend jumped in-a week later the puppy was found almost starved-Mom kept it almost 2 weeks before it was returned with all of it's weight gained back
  • the little mixed breed called Brandon was the dog that would bite as quick as Mom would (a pit bull had almost killed it when it was younger so it took NO MESS AT ALL from big dogs-it reminded her of a little Rottweiler
  • then there was a black pit bull named Clayton and a black chihauha looking dog that stayed for a spell-they found homes
  • - if enough dogs wind up in the house, I'll turn a cat loose-SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT ALREADY :) -
  • mom's first dog bit dad, her second dog lived 16 years-okay they were the first dogs dad had to have-the breed was called chow chows-mom liked them because they were quiet and easy to train and didn't tear stuff up-she hated all the hair that they shed
  • moms always been allergic to long haired dogs that shed off that white dust looking dander
  • the newest dog is a Miniature Pinscher looking dog called Anna-daughter had always wanted a smaller dog but Mom refused saying one would have to end up at the house by some kind of magic otherwise that wouldn't happen until she got on her own.
  • the min pin was missing and now gone-the pitbull Diesel died, starting bleeding when he used the bathroom, it cleared up then his skin turned real yellow and then he died
  • another one is Broxy a female pit bull with something eating her skin up from one end to the other-refused to take care of her because I just can't do it any more and darned if Caroline didn't get ANOTHER PUPPY
  • still have the Rottweiler

Devil At The Door

there are drugs involved here

  1. THIS IS YOUR BRAIN OFF DRUGS-TWENTY years later

at one time there was in the house:
(I didn't cheat with none of these boys)
(hope the kids didn't play with these buddies)

-morphine
-attivan
-oxycottin
-demoral
-tramadol
-loritabs
-kadion?
-darvacetts
-valium
-zanax

in any way shape or form-shots, pills, syrup, i.v's
the best money could buy but we weren't having a party here
they just couldn't take away the pain that was so real
or give any peace or good feeling to a life that was already lost

we tried so hard to have a drug free home

And that's the only reason why I am PROUD to say I DID drugs at one time
not even the best at my hands would make me fall
because I knew they would not take away the pain or fill the emptiness
with any feeling of happiness in the life ahead of me

(well its still one of my favorite songs) STRAIGHT UP MAN
(cheated and about fell off the wagon a few times, but refused to get on "prescription drugs")
How did I not fall-T'S MAGIC-
STRAIGHT means refusing to let addiction take over even when you are on the edge.

like that bonus song - i do too ROCK ON STRAIGHT UP

For your listening pleasure while you read on:

Now knowing that smoking cigarettes done all of this
with all the tar and chemicals in them
he wanted me to quit smoking when he found out he had cancer
I found a way possible to quit and it worked well enough for about 6 months

I got serious enough to look up the drug nicotine and how to beat it and found out I might not better quit so soon-but he wanted me to:
Nicotine-the drug in cigarettes

So I found nicotine inhalers-Aeros Smokeless
Aeros Nicotine Inhalers-smokeless cigarettes
One inhaler equals a pack of cigarettes and a pack contains 20
One pack with shipping costs $32.00 and when ordered, they come in the mail in a week.

He had told me candy would help
so I killed two birds with one stone
and used some Commit lozenges
I still smoked outside at the house
but if someone is serious about quitting, these will work.

Unfortunately in the end I got discouraged and started back because I felt like dying myself.
When cigarette prices got outrageous, I found a mail order site that sells real cheap Native American cigarettes with paper filters and not all the chemicals in store bought cigarettes.

Safer, affordable Tobacco Products

I still use the inhalers in my office because I don't want to smoke around all that new computer stuff I got.
  1. Cigarette filters contain fiberglass so they don't catch on fire if you forget one in the ashtray-they don't want you to go down in flames
  2. fire retardant is added to the paper in cigarettes
  3. Chemicals are added to tobacco to preserve it, keep out bugs, mold, etc
  4. chemicals are added to tobacco to make it give you as much nicotine as it can
  5. there are theories that some other addictive thing is added to make it so hard for nicotine patches, gums and other aids to work well enough to quit.
  6. I support the public bans on smoking because the habit is very imposing on those who don't smoke and cigarettes are messy. Inconsiderate people who don't respect the comfort of nonsmokers and don't clean up their mess are taking away the freedom of those who choose to smoke or well have to because they are addicted.
  7. I'll never understand how people managed to sue cigarette companies for their health problems when the warning labels are as clear as day. As for all the added chemicals the cigarette companies had to somehow make their product not be a fire hazard.
The chemicals added to cigarettes will make you go:
Up In Smoke-and how you get there

The only thing cool about playing around smoking is you get addicted then end up going up in smoke and down in cold blood.

My newest attempt to quit that has the best potential:

Lady plays Rocky

At first I just liked the sound.
Then the words I could hear stayed with me.
I carried the tune through life
It inspired me in every way possible in some way shape or form.
It came true for me, dreams do come true after all.

November 1, 1986

Alone until my eighteenth year
We met four springs ago
She was shy and had a fear
Of things she did not know
But we got it on together
In such a super way
We held each other close at night
And traded dreams each day

And she said,
"Rocky, I've never been in love before
Don't know if I can do it
But if you let me lean on you
Take my hand, I might get through it" (through it)
I said, "Baby, oh sweet baby
It's love that sets us free
And God knows if the world should end
Your love is safe with me"

We found an old gray house (3551 Alba Club Road)
And you would not believe the way
We worked at night to fix it up
Took classes in the day
Paintin' walls and sippin' wine
Sleepin' on the floor
With so much love for just two
Soon we found there'd be one more

Graduation 1987

And she said,
"Rocky, I've never had a baby before
Don't know if I can do it
But if you let me lean on you
Take my hand, I might get through it" (through it)
I said, "Baby, oh sweet baby
It's love that sets us free
And God knows if the world should end
Your love is safe with me"

June 5, 1993
October 21,1995

We had lots of problems then but (2956 Riverside Drive)
We had lots of fun
Like the crazy party
When our baby girl turned one
I was proud and satisfied
Life had so much to give
'Till the day they told me
That she didn't have long to live

Sometimes too good to be true.
I never thought I'd see the end of it though

April 16 (or about then) 2008

She said,
"Rocky, I've never had to die before
Don't know if I can do it..."

October 3, 2008

Now it's back to two again (well, three for me)
The little girl and I
Who looks so much like her sweet mother
Sometimes it makes me cry
I sleep alone at nights again
I walk alone each day
And sometimes when I'm about to give in
I hear her sweet voice say, to me

"Rocky, you know you've been alone before
You know that you can do it
But if you'd like to lean on me
Take my hand, I'll help you through it" (through it)
I said, "Baby, oh sweet baby
It's love that sets us free
And I told you when the world would end
Your love was safe with me"

She said,
"Rocky, you know you've been alone before
You know that you can do it
But if you'd like to lean on me...

(song by Jay Stevens)

In my darkest time, the sound wasn't enough
the words just couldn't say it enough
It was basically the story of my life, not so happy though
especially when I never in all my life dreamed
that I would the one be playing Rocky.

Big Mamas House

Never minded being up all night with the babies or him

-it said SHARRIFF not Sherry and I think he really knew that but he must have known what he was talking about

I've had things go on I thought to trust he'd never let happen-the two most significant
Caroline dyed her her hair more times than I could count, Robert wore long hair

-we've had a turtle for seven years and still have the thing

-among all the dogs in the house, two are the family pets

-mom finally gets dishwasher

-teenagers brains are hard wired to NOT LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS-the reason-THERE IS INDEED a 50% chance (or better) it could ruin your life

This song played on a SpongeBob Movie

This is your brain on-PMS or PreMenapause, Stress?

This is your brain on - TEENAGERS

This was Nirvanas first hit song.

Dad was nothing special when it came to mama getting mad-happened about 3 years ago
They had cashed his paycheck at the bank and he wanted her to count the cash so they could stop at the store before going home for lunch-she saw it just as well to count the money when they got home and go by the store before going back to work but he insisted so she said "well count it yourself" He tried to smart back and asked "who's going to drive then" and she replied "I will-I'll roll you out, mow you down and run home with your money"

Mr Rogers Nieghborhood

There was this neighbor who harassed her and her kids one too many times

the neighbor called her on the phone and ultimately suggest she blow her brains out and take her kids with her after having said she needed to take a baseball bat to them or he would.

DAWG- I found a CLEAN version of this "wrap crap"

she tells him "i know why you harass us, you think because my husband is dead you can harass us. If you thought he was so bad (he was 6 foot 2 - 220 pounds but only looked bad, wouldn't hurt a fly) you have met worse" the next thing the neighbor knew she was standing at her gate and said "i have no problem taking a baseball bat to anyone who needs it, it's just my kids ain't needing it AT THIS MOMENT"

The Family Stone

copy of a nice email even though I couldn't hardly stand to go through what felt like the house being cleaned out. But for what was taken out that was still being used, was replaced such as a dresser for Caroline's room. The house felt so empty after a lot of the stuff was taken away.

< (his mom wanted some stuff she had trusted me with when she left the house to us and so it was very hard to deal with (this email was the most recent one - Here's a genuinely nice surprise for your mama- i still have every cabbage patch dolls she had collected some stuff from when she went to school, a bunch of old books i just wasn't able to keep up with things in their original good condition like I had been trusted to and i still do not feel like going through this because it it just too hard for me i had always looked forward to the days everyone at one time or another would come back home its just things are so bad at home >

This song works for BOTH sides of the family (and I'M STILL STRAIGHT UP, MAN)
> AND THE GRASS NEEDS CUTTIN' - SO WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

I've returned everything-I think-and things went well with the family-I think
except for when I found out the jewelry chest may have gotten broken into
and I found all kinds of mementos about other family members that had been forgotten

I was able to account for things tore up like a chair the dog chewed on, a mirror held unto the frame with rope had fallen and broke, a chair he liked to sit in fell apart before I got a recliner, beds that fell apart. A lot of things were known to already be falling apart when we moved in and every man in the family had tried to fix them. The dining room table was one that was tried to be fixed by nearly everybody but the kids that came through the house :) His mom found out he sat in the formal living room every day. There was stuff stored in the garage and attic from like replacing older fixtures with ceiling fans and so on and some furniture stored. to guarantee it didn't get tore up. Antiques and whatnots and old things just didn't mix well with kids and dogs in the house. Well, most of the stuff was in bad shape. Maybe the music will help get a laugh.

the OUTLAW wasn't me after all and here's is how the story goes - I kid you not

Saturday - June 20 - 2009 the family came in on Thursday

the family comes to get all the things I had agreeably let them have
we agreeably pack and haul and even have some good times
me and the kids still have our living room and bedroom furniture

we go into the locked closet to get jewelry that had been left behind
(i always had the keys on me so I was sure all the jewelry was still there)

The first ring box Sheila opens is empty and she says her dads ring is missing and other jewelry is missing

-I'm furious to think my kids may have got in there and stole the stuff but then I remembered a unique looking ring Rob had found somewhere that I had put it in my jewelry because I liked the way it looked so I get it and it was identified as a ring of his mama'a. I felt so bad, I let the living room suit go with them. Whoever got the stuff had dropped that ring.

-and he liked the Eagles
Hotel of California was my favorite but this was better here for the one I will find out stole the jewelry.

I bet the favorite movie of the families was Forrest Gump

Silver and Gold, I Have None-Two Golden Rings and A Silver Anniversary Gone

THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL PLAN

He liked the Fair

I could say I had a bad marriage if you count misery love company:
he knew how to make anything bad on himself and so bad for every one else who would listen. Here's the best miserable time-
They got stung by some wasps when they were cleaning the bushes by the house
He got stung on the shoulder, she got stung in the face. They rinsed off and went inside. He didn't know she had got stung and was whining about getting stung but nobody cares. She said "Wanna trade?" He shut up when he saw the swelling of her face.  :)
