Vacations

They got to go to Hawaii November 2003 for a week
and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village ON Wakiki Bay

She found a diner up the street with good, affordable food to eat every day. But she didn't mind paying for the Boogie boards that came with a rope and cuff for the wrist to safely go swimming. He could have drowned but she had put his "leash" on his wrist. (the water was deeper than he thought) When she felt sure he wouldn't escape and drown, she paddled out to a coral reef and saw all kinds of critters for a minute then went back and towed him to shore because he was cold and tired. :)
She let him dry out and warm up on the sand while she made a starfish sand sculpture.

He loved the Naval Museum so she took 1001 pictures of all the model boats and him playing in the submarine at the Pearl Harbor Memorial.
One of her favorites of the trip was the Komodo Dragon lizards at the Honolulu Zoo

They went to a Thanksgiving luau. He got real queasy feeling and then sick so she tipped a bell hop to give him a ride on the luggage cart to the motel room. It was the last night there and she was VERY tired because she had a flu or something the whole vacation.

The song was about the loss of a dog that had helped a man get over depression

Some drunks at Dauphin Island campground played this ALL night long and he loved to hate it. His wife likes Janis Joplin and so she's been know to turn the radio up and halfway sing this one a few times
